He began his training at a very young age in his hometown, Taranto. After a few years of study, Liliana Cosi, \u00e9toile of La Scala Theatre, took him under her artistic wing, shaping him for admission to the Paris Opera Ballet School and the Vienna State Opera Ballet School. Upon reaching adulthood, he graduated as a professional dancer from the Vienna State Opera School under the direction of Jolantha Seyfried, studying in the class of the renowned V. Onoshko from the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, passing with excellent marks.\nAfter his studies, he performed various roles with the company of the aforementioned theater in several classical, neoclassical, and contemporary repertoire ballets, including: La Bayad\u00e8re, Ballo in Maschera, Swan Lake (starring Polina Semionova), Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Bits and Pieces, and Copp\u00e9lia. Following his four-year experience in the Austrian capital, he joined the Salzburg Ballet, directed by Peter Breuer, where he performed corps de ballet and soloist roles in neoclassical ballets by the director himself, as well as repertoire pieces by famous choreographers such as Rudolf Nureyev, W. Forsythe, and A. Bournonville.\nIn Germany, Pierpaolo served as a soloist at the Theater Vorpommern in Greifswald, directed by Ralf D\u00f6rnen (Hamburg Ballet), and as a soloist for the Deutsches Fernsehballett company. He performed lead roles in Bolero, Carmen, Napoli, 4+1 Elements, Quattro forme per Archi, Frau Luna, Tanzzeit 2011, Ravel, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, and Rhapsody in Blue. As a guest soloist for two summer seasons with the Balletto del Sud, he danced in Oedipus Rex, Carmen, The Firebird, Scheherazade (alongside Luciana Savignano), Homage to Mozart, and La Traviata by choreographer Fredy Franzutti.\nIn July 2012, he was invited to perform and was honored by Mauro de Candia at a gala dedicated to Italian excellence abroad. He danced in several creations with the Staatsballett Berlin during the 2012\/2013 season and has performed as a classical dancer in many ballet evenings in Italy and abroad, partnering with various dancers from the Berlin Opera, La Scala, and the Vienna State Opera. In 2013, he studied Classical Dance Pedagogy at the city conservatory in Berlin.\nPierpaolo was invited as a \"GUEST Teacher\" for the English National Ballet School in the summer of 2015. Since 2015, he has been a Soloist Dancer for the \"Ukrainian Ballet\" in the most famous repertoire ballets (Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Carmen, Chopiniana, Don Quixote), performing at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan during the theatrical season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the theater season 2016\/2017, he worked as guest dancer at Teatro alla Scala, participating in several productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
