The solidity of the C.I.B.U. proposal is rooted in the experience of Masters coming from the most important theatres in Eastern Europe, former soloists and prima ballet dancers, with a profound university pedagogical training. Mrs. Alvina Kalchenko's supervision has preserved the methodological tradition of the countries that are the cradle of the Vaganova Methodology, while Mrs. Caterina Calvino Prina's direction has adapted these principles to the concrete needs of amateur schools, respecting learning times, weekly attendance and the heterogeneous levels of the students.
