Nadejda Scepaciova was born in Speia, Moldova, in 1976. In 1987, she entered the state school of music and ballet, where she graduated in 1995. In the same year, she was hired in the corps de ballet of the Moldova National Opera Ballet in Chisinau and she immediately obtained a role as principal dancer in the ballet Spartacus. Until 2010, she worked as prima ballerina at the Moldova National Opera Ballet playing the roles of Clara in The Nutcracker, Kitri in Don Quixote, the Sylphide in the ballet La Sylphide, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Odette and Odile in Swan Lake, Lisa in La Fille Mal Gardée, and Giselle in the homonymous ballet. In 2008, she obtained the prestigious recognition of Honoured Artist of the Republic of Moldova. She won several competitions. Amongst her awards there are in particular the first prize at the international competition in Constanta (Romania) and the first prize for choreography performed during the international competition of dancers and choreographers in Moscow. In 1997, she won the State Prize of the Republic of Moldova for her performance as Giselle in the ballet Giselle. With the dance company of the Moldova National Opera Ballet she toured all over Europe and with the company of the Royal Moscow Ballet she toured China. Since 2007, she has been collaborating with AUB as guest dancer at the grand galas, and as prima ballerina on tours organized by the Academy. Since 2010, she has been a teacher at the Ukrainian Ballet Academy.
