Irina Skrypnik

Teacher

Irina graduated in 1982 from the Kiev State School in Galina Kirillova's class. For a year, she worked as an intern, already performing important roles such as Swanilda in Oleg Vinogradov's ballet Coppelia. In 1983, she joined the corps de ballet of the Shevchenko Opera House in Kiev.

Her wide-ranging repertoire has seen her starring in numerous ballets such as:

Snow White in the ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", Peasant Pas-de-deux in "Giselle", "Romeo and Juliet", "Bayadère", Columbina in "The Nutcracker", the Fairies in "Sleeping Beauty", the Friends in "The Nutcracker".

She toured all over the world with the Kiev Opera House.

Irina has been cooperating with the Ukraine International Ballet Centre since 1998, and has seen the birth of the Ukrainian Academy in Milan in 2005.

In 2007, she became a teacher at the Kiev State School. In 2022, she moved to Italy and joined the teaching staff of the Ukrainian Academy.
