She was the first teacher to inaugurate the Accademia Ucraina di Balletto, founded 20 years ago in Italy in order to spread the tradition of the Vaganova Method in the art of classical dance.
Violeta Kotyrlo graduates from the “Kiev State School”. Then she joined the Kiev Opera Theater as Principal and danced numerous roles in the main ballets, participating in various tours in America, Japan, Portugal and France. She obtained the Master-Repeater degree from the International Slavic University and later worked at the Kiev branch of the Academy.
She is a historical professor at A.U.B. as a classical dance teacher, as well as holding Method courses at the International Ballet Center of Ukraine (CIBU) for which she is also an examiner for student exams.
